Updated Moon!! And other stories!

Hey everybody! Guess what, I just found out that I can get the full moon above the park right beside our house! That means I have more time to play with settings to get an even better one than last time. Here is the updated! Compare both, and you'll see what I mean.

Cool eh? Way better than the last one. (not as bright) 

Anyway,  I want to talk about the coolest thing I've ever joined on the internet! It's called OYAN. (One Year Adventure Novel/Forum!) Maybe I should explain before I get in to much detail. First of all, my sister joined and loved it so much. It's a high school novel writing curriculum which teaches soooooo well! When joined, you get to join the forum where you can talk with other OYANers, as we call each other. You can also make topics on pretty much anything. Whether it is random, or about writing. If you need help with character development, or ANYTHING!! There is also chat, where you can talk to people. One of the great parts about it is that almost all of them are CHRISTIANS, including me of course. There is also an every year workshop is Kansas which I want to go to so bad next year!!!!!! 

Anyway, that's enough about OYAN for now...well...I'm tired and need to sleep, so I'll post later.

New LENS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You know what, I think I'll post whenever I want...I just can't keep up! >.< Anyway, I finally got my new lens!!!!! You know, the 70-300mm! I've done lots of new awesome pictures with it, especially a full moon picture I've wanted for a long time!

Cool eh! I couldn't get in this close, that's why I cropped it a bit.

I even got fire work pics on the same night, cause it was Canada Day...night. Here are some.

Xciting Weekends!

Hi everyone!

Did you do anything exciting last weekend? I certainly did! The church that I go to had a youth camp or retreat, whatever you want to call it. It lasted about two days at a cabin at Roche Lake. I think Roche Lake is in Merit, BC. We did lots of fun things there, like boxing, wrestling, pen knife fights, capture the flag, etc. If you're wondering what pen knife fights are, its a game where you get a marker or pen and try to "cut" the other person. We also, near the end of the day, went to a lake to swim in. Brrrrrr, it was cold. Another thing about the lake was the mud at the bottom of the lake. When you walked in it, you could sink until it rose to your knees.

I also had another exciting weekend! We went to this rodeo called the Cloverdale Rodeo in Cloverdale obviously. It lasted three days, but I only went on the first day. They had all sorts of rides and events, like a Skateboard Competition! All sorts of pros came and showed some of their fancy tricks on flat ground. It was  pretty cool. I also went on a ride with my sister. I don't know what it was called, but it was like a giant slingshot shooting strait up. You would sit and buckle up in this ball and shoot up like 200ft up, super fast on these cables! It was one of the best rides I've ever been on! There was also chariot races, but I didn't see them. Well that's all I have to say about the rodeo, but just to let you know, I'll put some recordings of the skateboarding on my Youtube account and on here some time when I've got it finished.

April 30th

          Hey everybody, I've decided to post every Friday. Sorry about the no spaces in between anything on my last post. I tried to edit it but it still doesn't want to change. Whatever, at least you can still read it. Anyway, did I tell you that I'm saving up for a telephoto lens for my camera? Probably not. Well here's the picture of the IS 70-300mm USM lens.(Ultrasonic Motor, Image Stabilization.)
It's pretty expensive, but I'll earn the money when I work with my dad this summer. He's a painter just to let you know. He works in a company called Remdal Painting and Restoration. Right now I do have two lenses. One is the IS 18-55mm lens which came with my camera, and the second is the 50mm lens.
           Last post I said I'm taking free photography classes from my Uncle. Because of this, I larned more of the advanced settings on my camera which helps me to take waaaaaaaay better pictures.

What surprised  me was that when I used my flash, it lit up the rose's edges, and added the awesome effects.

             I told you I would post on Friday, but today's Monday. That doesn't matter though, because I just really wanted write it all out before I forgot what I wanted to say. I guess that happens when you love to write. :) Anyway, I don't have much more to say, so have a good week, and God bless.

I'm Back Everyone!

Hey everybody! Wow, its been forever since I last posted. I just totally got uninterested in blogging, but now I'm back. As I can see, I've got new followers since I've been on last! Yaaaaaaaaaaay! Thanks for the support. One of the reason I stopped was because I thought no one really liked it all that much. Well, let's get back to the present now, not worrying about the past. Last post I said I would put pics on from my survival weekend, but I guess I didn't really take much at the time. But I can still tell yall bout it. Let me see...Oh yes. We found this old road, only a 4-wheeler could get up. At the top there was a turn in where a perfect little place to camp lay, just waiting for a "mountaineer" to come along and use it to his advantage. I guess we were the "mountaineers." We parked and pulled out the saws to cut down some small trees to build a shelter. As the day grew to a close, we finished off the shelter with a sheet of plastic we brought along, and placed on top, just in case it rained. Finally we finished, then we built a fire, just with a flint and some petroleum jelly to get it started. It was nice out that night. Just sitting by the fire, hearing the wood crackle as we talked about certain things. At last we finally got tired and went under the shelter, snuggling up in our sleeping bags. We lay down on some more plastic because of the wet soil underneath. Slide...We found ourselves on a slight hill, slipping down the slippery plastic. Boy that was sure annoying. When combined with the cold weather, and a slippery underneath, you get real uncomfortable. After a few hours of sleeping, we decided to go to the truck, because it was sooooo cold. By the morning, we were all rested and ready for the day ahead of us. Well, that is pretty much it for the survival weekend. Now onto other subjects. By the way, I'm 14 now! Almost 2 months ago now. Getting older also means new exciting things, like photography classes! That's right. My uncle, a professional photographer is giving me free private lessons! I'm also part of this photography club taught by another professional, except she's a lady. I've learned so much, but there's still alot more to learn. Anyway, it's getting pretty late now, so I should probably go. Oh, one more thing. I've got a Youtube acount now. It's called "SaltyDogStudio." Look it up! Later everyone.

Survival of the Fittest

Hey everybody, hows it goin! Guess What,if you've read one of my most recent posts, it says I was to go on a survival weekend. Well I've just found out that I am going! If you're thinkin that its kinda cold, then I know. Frrrrrrrrrrrrreeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeezzzzzzzzzzzzzzzinnngggggggg!! That's why I just got some extra heavy snow clothing. When I put it on, it's like I'm in a slow cooker. In the house that is. It'll keep me ssooo warm. I even got a bow and some arrows to see if I can catch a rabbit or something. Here is a picture of it.

I guess that wasn't too close up, but that's pretty much the looks of it. If you can't see close up enough, the design is camouflage.

I'm also looking forward to the weekend because a friend of my dad has a hunting license. So he's going to bring his gun! I'm not sure what type it is, but I'm guessing it's a shotgun.

November the 18th

Oh my gosh, I can't believe I haven't posted for FOURTEEN DAYS!!!!!!!!!! I really got off track this time. Well, my last post stated that I was going to Portland, Oregon, and guess what I did go! :) It was awesome seing all the people that my sisters have been talking about ever since their trip to Poland. I loved to see the Photographers especially! They really inspired me to learn more and take more pictures.

I stayed in a Hotel while I was there, and there was a pool there! I love swimming. It's probably one of my all time favourite things to do.

Guess what, yesterday was our first snow fall this year! It started around the evening some time. My little sister and brother went outside to play in the awesome snow. The snow was so nice and sticky that you could make a snowman in like 5 minutes. Me and my brother made five snowmen in a row, and played target practice. It was awesome! One of the snowmen kept getting hit, but it wouldn't fall over. >.< It got so skinny, but then my brother made a lucky shot and it calapsed. Well, I just found out that I've got a new FOLLOWER!! Thanks Daniel!! Your awesome! I've seen your blog, and its pretty cool. My sister Julia really likes your blog. Here's a picture of our snow fall yesterday evening.

Friday, November the 4th

Hey blog followers!! You know how Hwlloween was on October the 31st, well I went to the church party I was talking about last post, and it was awesome! The games were great, and there was lots of candy.
My sister's Birthday was yesterday, and guess what we did, well one of the things we did. If you can't, then I'll tell you. We watched Cars 2! I've seen it in theatres before, but it's great to see it again. Anyway, her Birthday was great, and we had an awesome time. By the way, she turned 8 years old.
You know what I just found out? We are going to Portland, Oregon to see a wedding!! My sister Julia is really excited, because she has some really good friends there she wants to meet again.

Well, I don't have much more to say, except that my Dad, and a guy from church are planing a survival weekend some time in the late November or the beginning of December. You know "Surviver Man," well if you haven't heard of it, it is a show about this guy that goes out in the wild with not much at all, and he shows you how to survive. Well that's about what we're planning to do. Not a whole week, but about 1 or 2 days.

My Alder Acres Adventure!

Hey everybody, guess where I went on Saturday? Alder Acres!! Well if you haven't heard of it, it's a farm that has a pumkin patch, a christmas tree farm, and a petting zoo. My little sister Jessica has Birthday on Thursday, so that's why me and my family went, to celebrate a Birthday!!!!!

Today is Monday, and of course you know it's Halloween, or as I call it Reformation day. Tonight, the church I go to is having a party! They are going to have games and food and other activities that are going to be awesome! Anyway, that what I've got to say, so have a good day. xD

Oops, Forgot To Post!

Oh dear, I forgot to post on Monday! Looks like I'll do it today. Well let me see, what should I say...oh yes, does anyone know about Dr, Who? I certainly do! XD It's awesome!!!! You know what happened when I tried watching the first episode of the new season on a website, I ran out of minutes!! What I mean is that when you reach a certain amount of time, you have to be a member and pay to watch all you want! >.< grrrrrrr... But there is another way, you can either wait an hour, or get a different computer. We have another computer, but my sister was using it to chat with a friend, so of course it wasn't possible to use. My sister Julia LOVES Dr. Who. She calles it being a "Whovian" when you are obsessed with the show. Here is a picture of Doctor Who!!

Any way, that's it!! But to conclude this post, DOCTOR WHO IS AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It Is Now Friday

Hi everybody, I've decided now to only post two days every week, Monday, to tell about the exciting weekend that I may have, and Friday, to talk about the week's events! Anyway, I guess I should talk about my week. Well actually I did have an exciting event happen to me on Tuesday!! I went shooting!! Stephen, my brother, my Dad, and I went to a gun club and shot .22s in an indoor range! It was sssssoooo fun! We got to shoot 10 rounds each of the 5 times we could shoot, which equals 50 rounds in all. Well that is probably it 'til later, for now. SSSSSSSSSSSSSEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE YYYYYYYAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!XD

I'm Back!

Well, well, well...Hi everyone, I have not posted for about a little less than two weeks, because our internet sadly was not working. But now it is, so yay!! Today I went to a pastor named Ralph Smith's seminar. It lasted about 2 hours or something like that. The sermon was about God's commandments, and how he punishes the wicked when they disobey His commands.

Guess what, you know what the military snipers use for camouflage, it's called a ghillie suit. Here's a picture of it in progress. I'm almost done!

I'm probably going to use the ghillie suit for paintballing, and maybe even for getting close up pictures of animals and stuff. Maybe.

Don't You Just Love Fall

Don't you just love fall? I know I do. Especially because of the cool pics I can get with my camera. There are two things that I enjoy taking pictures of. One, the cool clouds that form in different ways, and the birds that fly south for the winter.
The summer is probably my favourite time of year for doing photography. The reason is because of the nice sunshine and opened up flowers. Probably my favouite thing to capture is the landscape of the earth. It's amazing what God created for us to enjoy. It says in Genesis one verse nine,
And God said, "Let the waters under the earth be gathered together into one place, and let the dry land appear." And it was so. God called the dry land Earth, and the waters that were gathered together he called Seas. And God saw that it was good.

Maybe if anyone of you knows, you can leave the answer on a comment."_" Anyway...guess what I did today!!!! I had to take my sister, Tanaya to Tim Hortons for work. So on the hills, she rode on the back pegs of my BMX with me! It was awesome!XD While we were going down the hills, the rain on the road sprayed us at the back, which maade us pretty wet. Good thing she wasn't wearing her work uniform. Here is what my BMX looks like!!

Other Reasons for this Blog

You know what, this blog could also be used as an online journal. Well to start off, today actually wasn't very exciting except for school. Some school subjects I enjoy more than others...math is definitely NOT my best or favourite subject. The thing I don't enjoy about school days, is the early mornings. That's right, I get up at 6:50 everymorning to start on chores, and begin school at 9:00 am. Well Anyway, talk to you all later, and here are some more pics you can look at!! The great lion takes a HUGE YAWN!!

Hey everyone. I called this blog "Jeremy's Life as a Photographer in heart," because I dream of becoming a professional photographer. Well, I'm still sort of talking about myself...enough about myself, back to photography!! There are two kinds of "graphy" I enjoy, one, Cinematography, which is movie making, and two, Photography; picture taking. I have made a movie called: "The Unknown Killer," and lots of video shorts. You notice that I enjoy photography better. I didn't really call this blog, "The Greatness of Cinematography and Photography"...it's too long!! But I'll talk about both anyway!:) I could even put some videos I've made on this blog, but not my whole movie, because it'll take WAY tooooo long. Well, talk with you guys later!!
